Chilli was hot, Coffee was brewed, and the stands were alive.
With cheers from grandparents, parents, and siblings too
They are all number one fans of the Twisters...it's true
Each brought a toy and a food item this day
Supporting our community; it was quite the display
A puck chuck at 3pm, and lots of prizes to be won
It was clear to see all the hard work that was done!
As our local firefighter dropped the puck for our Atom team,
It signaled the start of something unforeseen.
A shootout for Hatcher, the first this year!
His parents so proud, his Mom shed a tear.
The team fought hard and made great plays
Their quick moves left the visitors all in a daze
Taylor with a hat trick and Kellam the same
Bryan and Lyons, one each, sealed the game
Everyone at GV arena would undoubtedly agree
They played with their hearts and all could see
Their determination gave them that winning score
But it's the fun they had that meant a whole lot more!
