Registration for the 2020/2021 season

Registration closes September 27, 2020

Due to COVID-19, minor hockey will look different this year. Our volunteer executive team is working hard to ensure hockey is available for the kids in our community so they can stay active, develop their hockey skills, and have fun with their friends playing the game we all love. Following Public Health and Hockey Canada Guidelines, GVMH players will be able to participate in non-travel (for now), locally-based program with smaller teams where the focus will be on skills development with 3 on 3 or 4 on 4 games, when possible.

Please see our FAQ page for specific details of the changes that will happen to ensure the safety of our players and their families.

All registrations MUST be completed online. See link at bottom of page. Please review the following information before registering online:

NEW FAMILIES TO OMHA/GVDMH

If you are a new family to minor hockey or your child has never played before, please note that we will need a copy of your player's birth certificate at the time of registration.  Upon completion of online registration please email a copy of the certificate(s) to
[email protected].

All new families are required to complete the Respect in Sport Parent program offered by the OMHA. The Respect in Sport program MUST be completed before you can register your child(ren) online for hockey.

The RIS program has no expiry date so once you are certified you do not have to repeat this program. There is a cost of approximately $14.00 with this course which is the responsibility of the parent/family. The course takes approximately an hour to complete and you don't have to do it all at once. This course MUST be done by one parent/guardian, regardless of any other certifications.
