Registration for the 2022/2023 Season is now open.
Registration closes September 1st 2022.
IMPORTANT: IN THE EVENT THAT WE RECEIVE AN INFLUX IN REGISTRATIONS WE WILL BE GOING ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. WE WILL MAKE OUR BEST EFFORTS TO PLACE ALL PLAYERS ON A TEAM AS LONG AS WE ARE ABLE TO SECURE ENOUGH COACHES, BENCH STAFF AND PLAYERS.

Hockey Canada strongly recommends registering on a laptop or PC.
Multi-player discounts require all players to be registered in the same transaction.
New Registrations: Those who have NEVER played organized hockey under the Hockey Canada umbrella: Please click below for instructions and the link to the RIS (Respect In Sport): Parent Course. Note that GVMHA is obligated to obtain proof of birthdate (birth certificate) and proof of address (parent driver’s license) for all new registrations. Please email these to [email protected] once the player profile has been created. Once the course below is complete, you will be able to log in through our registration link to register your child(ren).
If you are registering a child but have completed this course for other children in your care, DO NOT complete it again. Refer to instructions in the document to add more children to your profile.

Returning Participants: Existing participant registration: You must ensure that your player(s) are linked to your account before you register. When you log into your account, click on “My Dashboard” and then click on “Link Members”. Add your participant and then go back to the Registration button.
New to Grand Valley but have played hockey in another center?
In order to register with Grand Valley Minor Hockey, we will need access to your Hockey Canada Player Profile. Please complete the appropriate Player Transfer Form.
If your previous center was an OMHA center, please complete the form, scan, and email to [email protected], along with the required supporting documents listed on the form.
For coaches, trainers, and other volunteers- note the ehockey.com website has been disabled for volunteer credentials by Hockey Canada. Volunteers can now use the new online HCR registration system portal to access their credential account.
ABOUT THE REGISTRATION PROCESS:
*Registration is done completely (and only) online. Payments will be made online with a credit card or cash/cheque to our registrar. Please reach out to [email protected] to make drop off arrangements.
*Your registration needs to be confirmed by GVMH. A confirmation email will be sent once reviewed by GVMH, payment made, and the one-time Mandatory Parent Respect in Sport online course has been completed.
REGISTRATION FEE FOR THE 2022/2023 SEASON:
1- Full payment at the time of registration
2- 5 Installments
*Initial payment will be 20% of registration fees plus fundraising fee is paid in full upon registration
*20% registration fee July 1st 2022
*20% registration fee August 1st 2022
*20% registration fee September 1st 2022
*20% registration fee October 1st 2022
You have three options to pay for your registration:
1- Online via credit card or cash or cheque. If paying by cash or cheque we require all cash, cheques and post dated cheques ASAP please reach out to our registrar at [email protected] to make arrangements.
2- Please ensure you include your CHILD'S NAME so we know what registration the cheques/cash belongs to.
PAYMENT MUST BE MADE IN FULL PRIOR TO PARTICIPATING IN ON ICE ACTIVITY UNLESS OTHER ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE AND APPROVED. REGISTRATIONS FOR GRAND VALLEY MINOR HOCKEY ASSOCIATION ARE SUBJECT TO APPROVAL FROM OUR EXECUTIVE.
Any requests for refunds of registration must be in writing. All refunds granted after hockey operations for the season have commenced will be subject to a non-refundable administration charge of $25.00 and will be pro-rated based on the hours of ice-time provided to the player.
a- No refund will be issued until any equipment belonging to GVDMHA is returned in acceptable condition.
b- No partial refunds will be issued due to illness or injury for part of the season.
c- No request for refunds will be accepted after December 1st of the current season, unless the family moves or unless there are medical reasons.
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: PLEASE ONLY SELECT ONE FUNDRAISING FEE PER PLAYER
- $125.00 Fundraising fee applies per player to a max of 2 players per family. Each family will receive a box of chocolates and a book of raffle tickets to sell. Any money recouped for the sale of chocolates or tickets is yours to keep.
- $25.00 administration fee applies to any player that requests a refund.
