Novice LL Twisters, 2014-2015 (Grand Valley Minor Hockey)

It was a good game from the kids today once they realized they have to skate to get the puck. Once we figured out that little problem the kids played well.

It started out bad but finished very good. Saturday Nov 22 our team lost 7-6 to center Wellington in a tough battle. We let them get up to a 4-0 lead by the end of the first but fought our way back to 7-6 at the end. We had a chance with 20 seconds left in the game to tie it up but hit the post. It was great to see that none of the kids gave up after going down so early and battled to the end

What a great defensive game the Novice Twisters played today. In a 7-3 victory it was a great game by the team where the kids focused on the defensive part of the game first and let the scoring come second. Keep up the great team work kids the coaches are very proud of how your coming along

Another great game by the Novice Twisters on Nov 2. A 10- 3 victory over Arthur. The coaching staff is super happy with the way the kids are learning every time they step on the ice. We are extremly please with how willing the kids are to trying new things such as different positions and when it is time to take a rest there is no fighting. Keep up the great work kids you are making us very proud

The novice twisters put in a great effort on Saturday Oct 24/14 for their first victory this year beating Center Wellington 7-3. All the kids played well and are already showing improvement from the beginning of the year.
