Atom 2 (Green), 2016-2017 (Grand Valley Minor Hockey)

It is with great pleasure to introduce our assistant captains for the 2016-2017 season: Avry Bryan, Jade Nolet and Luke McCracken! Keep up the great work team!!

What a game today Twisters! The spectators and coaches were so proud to see us working so hard together to pull off an AMAZING 7-0 victory, giving our goalie (Ethan Timmerman) a well deserved shut out!!  

Hats were on the ice this afternoon, as Yahoo racked up 3 goals to pull us to victory! Trailing our opponents 3- 1, we battled back to claim our first win with a 4-3 final.  Way to go Twisters! 

We are so pleased to announce that Jamie Jackson has been named our team captain! Jamie is a solid member of our team, and the decision to give Jamie the "C" on his jersey came naturally.  We know that Jamie will continue to work hard and be a positive influence to every member of our team.   Congratulations Jamie!!

Our first game is done, But we've only just begun, Oh, how we'll succeed, In the future, yes indeed! Just wait until you see this team, And our smiles, they will glean! So let's not get down because of this, Future opportunities, we will not miss, Keep working together, one and all, Skate hard and fast, be proud and stand tall!
