Hockey Jersey Design Contest
Submitted By Hudson Cassidy on Thursday, November 15, 2018
Let’s show our support for Hockey Day in Grand Valley. Please ensure all players participate in this fun contest for all players at all levels to showcase their talents ‘off the ice’.

For Peewee and Bantam levels, if players prefer to do a short essay/poem/expand on a favourite quote ie “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take” “What Does Hockey Mean To Me” “why I play hockey” or “small town hockey” etc, that would be welcomed too.

As extra incentive, a small prize will be awarded to the 1st Place winner of each level. All entries will be displayed by division in the stairwell leading to the Booster Club (upper floor) of the arena.

Members of the organization and community, families, kids, grandparents, visitors are all welcome to vote for the jersey/writing of their preference, at each level.

The contest will close at 3:00pm to allow time to tally up the votes and winners will be announced/posted prior to the Sledge Hockey game at 4:00. Please see Meghan-McCauley Brown to claim your prize.

Please include your first name, last name initial, and team on the front of your piece and hand in your entries to your coach/manager or Meghan by Nov. 30 at the latest so we have time to hang them up in the arena on Hockey Day.

The jersey template is included with this post for those that may require an extra copy.
