2018-2019 Bantam Home Opener
Grand Valley Minor Hockey's enrollment is growing and the first Bantam aged team in five years took to the ice on Sunday afternoon for their home opener. Grand Valley Mayor Steve Soloman dropped the puck to begin a hard-fought battle between the Georgian Shores Lightning and the Bantam Twisters which ultimately ended in a 3-3 tie.
Over 100 fans were on hand to cheer on the Bantams in an exciting game that featured strong goaltending and down to the buzzer excitement.
