The season has almost come to an end and what a great year it has been! We hope all the kids had a blast and learned a lot about the game of hockey! We are gearing up for our Annual Awards Banquet on April 22nd and for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on April 30th.
Lots of hard work goes into running a hockey organization and we can't do it alone, we are looking for volunteers for next seasons Board of Directors. This is a great opportunity to get involved, to share your ideas and skills and be a part of your child's hockey experience in Grand Valley.
New Board members are appointed at the AGM at the end of each season. Anyone interested in applying for these positions can attend the AGM and express their interest. We do have members in some of these positions that wish to return next season but if you see a position that you feel you would be well suited for, please feel free to express your interest. If you are not able to attend the AGM and wish to volunteer for one of these roles, you can express your interest in writing by emailing [email protected] in advance of the meeting.
