The Grand Valley & District Minor Hockey Association would like to thank all of the coach applicants for the 2015-16 season.
The Twisters are proud to announce our selections for the following teams...
Mr. Jeff Norwich {Tyke 1}
We are happy to have Jeff return this upcoming season and welcome him as the Head Coach of the 2009/08 age group. As a returning coach, he appreciates how much fun it can be to manage a bunch of excited 6-7 year olds for a few hours a week – and for that, we appreciate him. Jeff is also a homegrown resident – and played his competitive minor hockey in the Valley. He enjoys teaching sport so much he volunteers his time in the summer months to the local Minor Softball Association. Once again stepping up to ensure these young kids have fun and learn what sport is all about. Next season Coach Jeff looks forward to teaching the entry-level age group the great things hockey can be.

Mr. Brett Lyons {Atom L.L.}
Prior to moving into the area, Brett was heavily involved in his local Minor hockey system. With his knowledge and experience, Brett looks forward to his sophomore year with the Grand Valley Minor Hockey Association. When he is not at the rink he is on the ‘pitch’ – soccer field that is – as he has an appetite for the most popular sport in the world. Moreover, he is not only a coach teaching soccer skills but also on the local soccer executive – volunteering his time for our growing community. Coach Brett looks forward to ensuring this group continues to expand on their hockey I.Q. and passion & love for the game - forever.

Mr. Keith Platt {Pee-Wee R.L.}
After taking a break from coaching, we are happy to have Keith return as the Head Coach of the 2003/04 age group. His hockey knowledge and appetite for the game is off the charts, his resume speaks for itself and his years of coaching service are a welcomed commodity. Keith is a competitor and coaching is no exception. When he was not playing, watching or talking about hockey he found time to play some very competitive fastball and enjoys the diamond dust still to this day.
