Respect in Sport Training

Did you know that as of August 31, 2014, the ‘Respect in Hockey’ initiative will require at least one parent or guardian of each player registered in minor hockey in the OMHA to complete the Respect in Sport - Parent Program?  This one-hour online course is an easy, proactive, educational program that empowers parents with the tools to ensure the game is enjoyable and respectful for themselves and their children.

The course can be found here:  Respect in Sport

The Pfisterer Farm
First Generation Farmers In 2015 we purchased our first farm, a modest 3 acre property in Mapleton Township. The small farm allowed us to learn and grow but we quickly realized we needed more space. In 2019 we purchased and move to our 'forever' farm, a 100 acre parcel just outside the town of Damascus. We are proud to be serving Wellington County providing local and sustainably raised pasture meats, free range eggs, and seasonal products.

Erin Auto Recyclers
Erin Auto Recyclers is a family run business that has been operating since 1958. Owned and operated by Rob Smith, Elayne McSkimming & their 2 sons, Erin Auto Recyclers along with their employees work hard to ensure that vehicles are recycled properly. Erin Auto Recyclers are proud to be recognized by the Clean Air Foundation as the first in Canada to recover mercury switches from ABS breaking assemblies. Recovering ABS assemblies along with convenience lighting switches is an important achievement because such assemblies often contain three mercury switches that together contain over 2.5 grams of mercury, a harmful neurotoxin. These assemblies can also take more time to find and remove from end of life vehicles than other switches, proving that Erin Auto Recyclers is dedicated to their company mission of continuously moving forward and improving upon everything that affects the environment and quality of life.
