Hockey Day Champ
During a fun exhibition game on Dec 1st during Hockey Day in Grand Valley, the coaches decided to shake things up a little by putting Briar in net and letting Fionn take a turn playing centre. Not only did Fionn play his hardest and score the first (and winning) goal vs. Novice Green, Briar played goalie like a champ. She challenged, poke-checked, dove, covered the puck, even saved a penalty shot, and got a shutout! What a natural athlete! The coaches are proud (although one proud dad has to pay up!)
